Applications are invited for a part time associate post (2-3 days) at an independent mixed NHS and private practice at the gateway to North Wales near to the historic city of Chester.  The ideal applicant will have full GDC registration and experience of working within the NHS plus have the necessary skills and confidence to offer private treatment.

The total number of UDAs are open to negotiation and are available at £11.50 per UDA. Lab bills are charged at 50%.  The UDAs available are between 3000-4000 depending on the number of days worked. (More UDAs could be available). Two of the days worked need to be Thursday and Friday with other sessions available including the possibility of Saturday morning. The post involves taking over an existing established list plus growing the list of NHS and private patients.

Private work is encouraged and paid at 50% of fees less 50% of lab bills.

The practice has six well equipped air-conditioned surgeries, digital radiography in each surgery plus digital OPG. We are computerised with SOE Exact. There are two decontamination rooms, one for each floor of the practice. Rotary endodontics with apex locators are available.  Implants are provided at the practice from an associate with a Masters degree in implantology. You will have the benefit of support from well qualified friendly and experienced staff, many of whom have been with the practice for over 10 years.  A dental therapist and dental hygienist work part time at the practice. On-site parking is available.

We pride ourselves on combining the friendliness of a local, patient-focused practice, with the professionalism and high standards of a quality dental care provider.

The practice is located on the edge of the town centre of Wrexham which has excellent road links to all the sports and leisure facilities that North Wales has to offer plus fast road links to Liverpool and Manchester.

The post represents an excellent opportunity for a motivated experienced dentist to join a dedicated and professional team but would also be suitable for an ex foundation training dentist to learn and progress and to be supported by an on-site experienced Principal. An immediate start is possible but we are happy to wait for the right candidate during any notice period.

All applicants must have:

•             Full GDC registration.

•             Documentation confirming the right to work in the UK.

•             A current NHS performer number and ability to be added to an NHS contract.

•             Proof of up-to-date relevant vaccinations and health status.

•             A valid DBS check.

•             Appropriate professional indemnity insurance.

•             A desire to be integral to the growth, development and promotion of the practice
