Dental Nurse

This Independent Mixed Dental Practice are looking to recruit for an experienced Dental Nurse for their superbly equipped, well established dental practice in Godalming, Surrey.

Start Date: ASAP

The role is to work on a full time basis, from Monday - Friday.

Working hours are from: 8:15am - 5:00pm with 1 hour for lunch each day.

Suitable applicants must be registered with the GDC and have practice experience.

Candidates will be working alongside a general associate. Duties varying from:

-Preparing the Surgery for Dental Treatment
-Cleaning the Dental equipment
-Taking Responsibility for Cross-Infection Standards
-Talking to Patients about their dental treatment, appointments, charting and other dental patient records
-Candidates must be fully aware and must be able to understand the CQC and HTM01-05 guidelines.

The ideal candidate must have:
-A welcoming and reassuring manner in order to work with patients of all ages, nationalities and dispositions.
-Must be calm, friendly and efficient as well as flexible and able to adapt to different patient needs.
-IT literacy, using dental charting software such as Kodak R4 and Microsoft Office is desirable, although for the right candidate full training can be provided.
-Must be mature and have a thorough approach to their role with the passion to progress within their field.
-Must be energetic and positive in their approach to their work and display good communication skills when dealing with patients and other staff.
-Able to work on their own initiative they will be self motivated as well as able to work well as a team.

The practice has an excellent supportive structure for its staff and invests in their ongoing education and training.
The practice prides itself on individual care and attention to detail therefore it is paramount the candidate has the same ethos.

This is a 4 surgery practice, equipped and computerised using Kodak R4. Decontamination room on site.

Salary will be paid depending on experience, offering between £10 - £12.50 per hour. This is to be discussed further at interview stage.
