Lead Nurse

The CFD team in Bristol is looking for a full time, qualified lead dental nurse to provide efficient and reliable chair-side support to Practice Clinicians with paramount emphasis on the quality, care and safety of the patient and the team. .

Our lead nurses are also key in the development of our dental nurses and the growth of our practices through marketing internally and externally and should be customer service driven.

The Position

There is always plenty to do but your list will definitely include:
- To lead alongside the practice manager a reliable, efficient and timely dental nursing service to ensure we exceed patient expectations at every visit and provide a first class customer experience.
- To support the Practice Manager and PCCs through marketing the practice to maximise number of patients proactively using all the tools available to reach potential patients including the tannoy system and direct engagement with Sainsbury’s customers as they shop.
- Responsibility for all activities undertaken at the practice being in line with GDC guidelines and CFD policies and procedures.
- Assist in the keeping of full and accurate patient records and ensure that they are regularly updated and stored securely.
- To establish and maintain high standards in all clinical areas of the practice ensuring full compliance of CQC, HCAI, ACOP, CG, HTM07-01, L8 and HTM01-05.
- Prepare the necessary materials and instruments, making sure that equipment and instruments are in good working order and maintained regularly in accordance with practice policy
- To grow and develop the dental nurses through training and development.

The Candidate

What kind of person works well at CFD?
