The University of Manchester invites applicants for the above post. This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic clinician to join the Division. You will be responsible for delivery of teaching and learning at the undergraduate level in dental and maxillofacial radiology, with some contribution at postgraduate level. You will also be encouraged to support research activities in the Division.

You must have a BDS or equivalent and have undertaken appropriate postgraduate training. Candidates should ideally have a PhD and have completed or be nearing completion of an SAC-approved training programme in Dental & Maxillofacial Radiology permitting entry to the specialist list in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology. An appointment at the level of Professor, Reader or Senior Lecturer will be possible, depending on the experience and record of the candidate.

Candidates from outside the UK will need to be able to provide evidence of training to equivalence of a UK specialty trainee in dental and maxillofacial radiology and would need to register with the General Dental Council. Appointment as an Honorary Consultant will require the candidate to be on a GDC specialist list.
